Uh oh - problem with going away: what to do about a Christmas tree, turkey, etc.? We've thought of that. Leave it to us.
What's in the weekly package
- Real top class Christmas tree, grown locally (worth £45 - £55): we normally get the fragrant Fraser Fir.
- Tree decorations, and others - we can decorate the tree for you, or give you the decorations and leave the ritual for you if you prefer.
- Turkey (worth £65): we get Bronze Turkeys (the best), reared naturally on a remote 10,000 acre hill farm off the Dalveen Pass, weight normally about 13 - 14 lbs (6 kg); a top class beef or lamb alternative is usually available on request.
- Bottle of Port from the top drawer "boutique" house of Niepoort (or other wine worth about £10 if preferred).
- Get off work earlier, and get up to 2 extra days free! Avoid the last minute traffic rush! Discover the local shops ...
The above applies only to bookings at the normal weekly rate.
Short breaks (less than a week)
- 6 nights: you are better off paying the weekly rate and getting the above extras free.
- 4 or 5 nights: the tree & decorations will be included free; turkey and Port (or wine) can be supplied at a preferential rate.
Please note: minimum booking 4 nights at Christmas and New Year.
Smoked salmon buying service
We can also obtain for you the best local smoked salmon (wild salmon, not farmed) before supplies run out - please just let us know in advance what you want. Comes from local man Tom Laird, best flavour and reasonably priced.
